STORYBOARDS
"UNPHEASANT" Scene 2 Storyboard
These boards set the exposition and rising action for my in-progress short film, "UNPHEASANT." Three friends and their pet cat are resting around a campfire in the woods. One of them, a fiery muscular pheasant, confronts another after coming to the conclusion that she stole something of his, and the conflict escalates from there as the other friend and their cat look on (one in fear, one in encouragement). I combined multiple cinematic elements, such as the dutch angle, dramatic campfire lighting, and increasing use of close-ups in order to heighten the feeling of tension in the conflict.
"UNPHEASANT" Scene 1 Storyboard (alternate version)
This is an older, alternate version where the story and setting of "UNPHEASANT" was different. In it, a woman wakes up hungry and covets the sandwich of her friend (who happens to be a fiery muscular pheasant), but instead goes out to get something from a vending machine. Meanwhile, their other friend comes back from an unsuccessful fishing trip, also hungry, and decides to steal the sandwich.
"Pretty Please?" Storyboard
These boards depict a comedic interaction between an endearing little girl and a couch-potato Satan in the suburbs, in which the child continuously begs Satan for permission to pet his dogs. She continues to ask in increasing levels of annoyingness until she reveals her true monstrous form and Satan at last gives in to her request.
